The Business details for the Animated Web Series in Lebanese Dialect Project
Our project aims to produce an educational web series for children, highlighting Lebanese and Arab culture, with a modern and engaging pedagogical approach for children. We also offer post-production services to improve the quality of the produced episodes. There is a growing demand for children’s entertainment programs that celebrate regional cultures, and Rawi perfectly meets that demand.
The target market is estimated to be around 300 million people worldwide. Rawi also allows all Lebanese children from the diaspora to maintain a connection with their roots, with the dialect and the culture of their parents. This is a great business opportunity.
The Market
Studying the market for Arabic-speaking people worldwide and Lebanese expatriates is a key element in understanding the potential of the Lebanese dialect animated series for children. According to the United Nations, there are over 420 million Arabic speakers worldwide, spread across 22 countries, making it a major language and potential market for the animated series.
Regarding Lebanese expatriates, there are approximately 14 million in the world, Lebanese expatriates are known to maintain a strong link with their home country, culture, and language, and the animated series could therefore meet their need to maintain this connection.
In terms of competition, there are standard Arabic animated series such as “Mansour” (United Arab Emirates), and “Super Henedi” (Egypt) that are popular in the Arab world. However, there is no specific animated series in the Lebanese dialect for children, which creates a market opportunity for the Rawi animated series.
Progress/Proof of the Animated Web Series in Lebanese Dialect Project
We have produced a pilot episode to showcase the potential of RAWI and its universe to our future investors. In addition, we have set up Rawi’s social media pages as well as a YouTube channel, which we regularly update and that attract an increasingly larger audience. We have also created video testimonials from Lebanese expatriate parents who emphasize the need for intelligent and engaging content in the Lebanese dialect for their children.
We will be launching the pilot episode on Rawi’s YouTube channel this Saturday, April 22nd, in order to prove our concept through the number of views and also to receive feedback from children and their parents. We have issued a press release regarding this milestone. Until today, we have not generated any revenue yet. Our goal is to generate revenue through the broadcast of the series and the sale of merchandise. We are confident in the potential of our project and are working hard to achieve our financial goals. A business plan with a detailed presentation is available upon request.

Objectives/Future
Our immediate goal is to fund the first season, consisting of 12 episodes of 5 minutes each (excluding introductions and end credits). In the second phase, we plan to expand the universe of RAWI, turning it into a brand image (merchandising, monetization) and leveraging its popularity to export the series (subtitling or dubbing for Francophone, Anglophone, and Hispanophone markets). The web series has significant growth potential by reaching a diverse audience.
Additionally, the demand for eco-friendly merchandise is rapidly increasing, providing an opportunity for the Rawi brand to position itself in this niche. In three years, we plan to become a reference in the production of educational content for children in Lebanese and Arabic dialects, while expanding our range of merchandise and exploring new market opportunities.
