Progress/Proof of the Biochar Production project
Due to the pandemic in 2020, we were forced to diversify our family business to generate a new source of income. As a result, we decided to invest in agriculture. We recently began operating the new agro-industrial business for intense livestock, located in prime land in the Amazon Forest in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
From an industrial perspective (our previous experience), we decided to create a manufacturing food sourcing industry. Using this method, we intended to give 1 hectare for 12 cows, instead of abiding by the “Bolivian law” and destroying 2 hectares per single cow.
Our initial idea was to grow King Grass to create massive yields of forage (biomass) for food sourcing for a cattle ranch hotel.
This approach at a large scale is very uncommon because it needs rigorous land preparation (high investment), and everyone else prefers to invest similar amounts (high investments) in soy land production, wheat, corn production, etc (short runs, with high profits).
