The Business details for the Specialised medical and diagnostic centre project
We intend to serve patients of all socioeconomic backgrounds. Dr. Boniphace Njau (Surgeon) and Dr. Byera Kasilima (Radiologist) together are currently working as medical doctors in Arusha region since 2019. We have a total of 14 years working experience as medical doctors and 10 of those years were spent working in commercial city Dar es Salaam. While working in Arusha region they were astonished by the scarcity of specialized medical services and reliable and accessible diagnostic services. This is a great business opportunity.
The Market
If the center is built in this area, pregnant women, children and poor people of Arusha district and Arusha at large will be protected from premature mortals, and the quality of life of the people will be greatly improved.
The project will be effective by bringing the following advantages;
- I) Increase accessibility to adequate diagnostic services for example CT scan and MRI and fluoroscopic service in the area
- II) Provide reliable and affordable specialized medical and diagnostic services which is not adequate in the area.
III) Provide service of Mammogram which is not available in the whole region
- IV) Decrease the rate of infant, child and maternal death.
- V) Preventive & curative health services will be ensured through a mother and child health clinic. As a result health status will be increased.
Progress/Proof of the Specialised medical and diagnostic centre project
Due to the scarcity of health centers patients in this particular area who need of these services are usually referred to nearest region hospital located 198 km from Arusha city.
Four years of working as medical doctors in these difficult condition, made us to start a project which would serve Arusha people mainly inhabited by maasai tribe. Five acres of land have already been purchased for the project; land surveying, architectural drawings are in process so as to start medical centre construction. We have also registered a company to carry on business of hospitals, pharmaceutical materials, medical equipment’s, colleges, health insurance etc..
To implement specialized medical and diagnostic centre project will need not only land and buildings but also medical equipment, modern machines, financial and man power. A business plan with a detailed presentation is available upon request.
